Inductive proximity sensors are electronic transducers which generate an output signal when a metallic object (iron, aluminium, copper, brass etc.) enter their sensing area from any direction, without coming into contact with the sensor. The sensors are available in cylindrical, rectangular and ring type versions and with many different electrical and mechanical features. All sensors are available with either a cable or connector plug.
